Description
Description
UPU-ESC is a two-component, exposed-elastic urethane-based heat-insulating topcoat, primarily based on acrylic urethane resin. Its high solar reflectance helps reduce building heating and cooling energy consumption. Unlike typical urethane paints, it offers superior flexibility, weather resistance, hiding power, adhesion, and abrasion resistance.
Purpose
Topcoat for exposed urethane flooring and topcoat for high-rigidity urethane sports facilities

Application details
1. Surface preparation
• The painting surface must be completely dry, and the moisture content must be checked to be 6% or less before painting.
• On the surface of the blood Oil , moisture , sand , dust etc. etc Completely remove foreign substances eliminate Please do it .
2. Painting conditions
• Ambient temperature: 5 to 35℃
• Humidity: 80% or less
• The PH value of the paint surface is 7 to 9
• Surface temperature : at least 3℃ higher than the dew point temperature
3. Painting system
• under coat : UPU-P100
• intermediate coat : UPU-L300
• Top coat : UPU-ESC
4. Painting method
• Spray, brush, roller
• When painting , be sure to remove any open flames and check for good ventilation before working.
5. Mixing
• Base (Part A): Hardener (Part B) = 4:1 ( by weight )
• Add hardener (part b) to base (part a) (color) and mix evenly with a power mixer for about 2 to 3 minutes.
• Use designated diluent when necessary
Never use thinners containing alcohol ( epoxy thinner , lacquer thinner , etc.) as they do not dry.)

7. Precautions for use
• On rainy days , days with high humidity (over 80% degrees Celsius), days with low temperatures ( below 5 degrees Celsius), and days with high temperatures ( surface temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius), normal
Avoid painting as it will not exhibit its properties.
• 2- component type Since it is a reactive paint, it must be used within the working time.
• The amount of paint required may vary depending on the condition of the painted surface, roughness, weather conditions, and the painting method. Please use after careful consideration.
• Bubbles may occur when used at high temperatures .
( Atmospheric temperature : Above 30℃. Surface temperature : (38℃ or higher)
• Avoid arbitrary dilution as it may affect flow, workability , and general properties.
• Do not heat the product or mix it with other paints.
• When working Please recoat at the recommended intervals as recommended by our company.
• Please note that actual usage may vary depending on the condition of possession, painting method, and painting conditions.
• In particular, never use thinners containing alcohol ( epoxy thinner , lacquer thinner , etc.) as they do not dry.
• coating When working bad direction Change or of the interface seam In part A strange phenomenon Will occur number There is certain In the direction
Please keep painting .
• Brush , roller When using Corner The part is first Brush or small With a roller Paint it and make it wide The area is Roller or Spray If you use it It's convenient .
• Highly saturated colors may cause discoloration between paint tools. Therefore, check for discoloration and proceed if there are no abnormalities. If discoloration occurs, proceed using the same paint tool.
• Base and Hardener certainly Direct sunlight Avoid At room temperature Please keep it The humidity Not absorbed So as not to suitable With a ventilation device
Ventilate Please give me some , especially summer When stored outdoors Paint temperature Go up Drying time and The lyrics time is It's been shortened In terms of painting workability Influence I give it to you .
• When painting with a brush or roller on days with high floor temperatures or low humidity, static electricity, sparks, and other factors can cause fire. Therefore, paint in the cool morning or late afternoon, and use paint tools made of materials with a low fire risk.
• For products in opened containers, use all at once and do not restorage for later use.
• Opened The product is Time When it passes Gel phenomenon ( hardening Phenomenon ) This Because it happens Quickly Please use it .
• If a thick base coat is formed on the floor surface, the contact area between the floor surface and the intermediate coat is reduced, which actually results in poor adhesion. Therefore, apply evenly to avoid forming a thick base coat.
• When repainting over an old coat (existing old coat, base coat, or intermediate coating, or when it rained or snowed for more than 2 days), apply an additional coat of urethane base coat as thinly as possible to improve interlayer adhesion with the existing coating (coating too thickly may cause bubbles and reduce adhesion).
• When the maximum repainting time has elapsed, appropriate surface treatment is required to ensure topcoat adhesion.
• Do not apply too thickly at once, and apply 2-3 times repeatedly. When applying repeatedly, make sure that the paint is sufficiently dry before applying. This will prevent uncured paint, flowing paint, and wrinkles in the paint film, and will not leave stains or brush marks.
• Paint stuck to the inner wall of the mixing container may indicate insufficient mixing of the base and hardener, so do not turn the container upside down or scrape it excessively.
• When using a thinner, dilute the specified thinner and apply it thinly. If the maximum repainting time has passed, if the intermediate coat has been exposed to rain or moisture, or if a thick film is formed on the surface when painting on a base that is difficult to absorb moisture from the undercoat, subsequent painting and adhesion problems may occur.
• When applying a Repaint over an old coat, please check its recoatability before use.
• The suitable pH value of the surface is 7 to 9. ( Surface moisture content 6% or less)
• Be sure to wear protective equipment when working.
• Avoid contact with eyes, skin and respiratory tract with the generated vapors .
• Use ventilation.
• Do not work in confined spaces.
• If it comes into contact with clothing, be sure to wash it with soap and detergent and water.
• After completing the painting work , immediately wash the equipment using the designated thinner .
• After painting, wash your body thoroughly with soap and water .
• Dispose of waste paint in accordance with the Ministry of Environment ordinance and local government regulations.
Storage period
• Store in a completely sealed container in a dry, temperature-controlled indoor location between 5°C and 25°C.
• Avoid prolonged outdoor storage. (Storage performance may be reduced due to ultraviolet rays and external temperature, which may cause sedimentation problems, and rust and moisture ingress may occur inside and outside the can due to rain. If moisture enters the can, curing problems may occur.)
• When storing or using the product outdoors in direct sunlight, the paint may harden due to a rapid reaction. Therefore, be sure to store it indoors.
• Keep the product container tightly sealed and store with the opening facing upward.
• The shelf life of this product is 12 months from the date of manufacture (when stored indoors at 5°C to 25°C).
